Easter is coming and the Easter bunny is on his way to do the rounds at all our luxury venues delivering delicious, chocolate treats hidden for our residents to find - just what the doctor ordered to alleviate exam stress! But what is Easter? Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the New Testament of the Bible, the event is said to have occurred three days after Jesus was crucified. Nowadays this is celebrated with gifting friends and loved ones with chocolate eggs to symbolise new life and rebirth. (We just love the fact we get to indulge on chocolate without feeling guilty). When is Easter? Easter always falls on a Sunday and typically falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the spring equinox. The date falls between March 22 and April 25. Fun Facts
