Oct, '18Starting university and moving away from home can be one of the best experiences of your adult life. Yes, it can also be a bit overwhelming but if you dive in head first, get involved and take advantage of everything that comes your way, we guarantee that you’ll have a ball. First year, Olly from [The Ascent](https://www.iconinc.co.uk/locations/liverpool-the-ascent), tells us about how he nailed his first week at university and IconInc.

Well, rise and shine was a little too early at 8am but my first day of uni started at 9am sharp. I got dressed and headed down for Grab & Go breakfast, it’s so handy if you’re running late or fancy a croissant and coffee for the road. A short walk later, I found myself at the university and ready to get my teeth into the induction week.Tuesday
I think I’m going to like this whole university experience, day two brought a free day out to Ghetto Golf (a themed mini golf course), to help everyone on the course to get to know each other. There’s also talk of taking us out for lunch tomorrow at a mystery location. Oh yeah! After a busy day, it felt right to kick back in the IconInc cinema room, with a bag of pick and mix, and put a film on.
