Whether you need directions to the local supermarket, want some friendly advice or just fancy a chat after a crazy day, our concierges are always on the case. What can we say, saving the day comes naturally to this bunch of superstars. We caught up with Reece, who works as a 24 hour concierge at [The Glassworks](https://www.iconinc.co.uk/locations/leeds-the-glassworks) in Leeds:

Q: How long have you worked at IconInc, The Glassworks?

Reece: For just over six months and it’s been great so far.

Q: Describe a typical day as an IconInc concierge.

Reece: No two days are the same, which is one of the things I really like about my job, my role is so varied. Sometimes I’ll be helping a student to print important university work, other times I’ll be having a fun game of pool with a student that just wants a bit of company. I think it’s important that students feel they can rely on and trust me, and feel like they can come to me for help. On event days I’ll also help our Events Manager set up for those too, whether that’s decorating the communal lounge or ordering in the pizzas for a movie night.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

Reece: We have a great team of staff here at The Glassworks and we all get on really well but one of the things that has touched (and surprised) me about this job is the kindness of the IconInc community, the students. Obviously I’m here to help them as their concierge but it often feels more like we’re good friends.

Q: What’s the craziest thing you’ve got involved in at IconInc?

Reece: I headed up the Christmas party and judged the Gingerbread house competition. I had lots of fun deciding which one was best decorated.

That feeling when you think the Christmas tree might be up to snow good! #iconinc
