Could You Be Leeds' Most ICONIC Student?

IconInc, Leeds’ new luxury student accommodation brand, has launched a lavish competition that will give one iconic Leeds student the chance to live in a brand new luxury apartment in The Edge for a year.

We are on the hunt for students that are doing the great and the good! Whether you’ve pioneered university projects or clubs, done something extraordinary for a friend or in the local community, or you’re simply the person that brings cheer to your campus, we want to hear from you!

All you have to do is tell us why you or a friend deserves to be titled Leeds’ Student Icon 2015.

Simply create and submit a nomination or entry proving why you or your friend, is a student Icon. Your entry can be as crazy, inventive and imaginative as you like - from a simple email to a dance routine to a message in a bottle. We want you to capture our attention!

The competition will close for entries on 31st March 2015, following which a panel of judges, including Made in Leeds TV Presenter Beth Krysta Wilson, Izzie Thomas from Leeds Student Radio, and the Managing Director of IconInc, will shortlist 5 worthy student icons to go through to the final.

In the final, you will appeal for votes from Leeds’ residents and your family and friends. You will take to the streets, social media or university clubs to prove exactly why you deserve the acclaimed title of ‘Leeds Student Icon 2015’. The one with the most votes wins!

The Student Icon with the most votes will win a year’s tenancy in a luxury apartment at the newly built The Edge, which offers the luxury, modern design and cutting edge technology of a boutique hotel – 365 days of the year. The lavish and beautifully furnished apartments include en-suite bathroom, plush double or king bed, flat screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi and utility bills. The “all-inclusive” facilities at The Edge include an on-site gym with available personal trainers, a cinema room, games zone, complementary daily breakfast, study rooms, self-service canteen and 24 hour concierge.
